2025-2026 Sports Medicine Acupuncture Certification Program and BEYOND
We are super excited to be starting our 16th Sports Medicine Acupuncture Certification Program in California and Virginia!
IMPORTANT: We would like to formally announce that the 2025-26 SMAC Program will be Matt Callison’s last program as the main instructor.
It is with a sad heart, but enlivened spirit, that I deliver this message to the acupuncture community. Thank you for all your support over these last 15 years! I sincerely treasure the many wonderful memories of teaching the SMAC courses, and the great people whom I have met along the way who have enriched my life. I will be focusing on my private practice and will continue to develop and teach continuing education intensive weekend courses in Sports Medicine Acupuncture.
Matt Callison, L.Ac
Sports Medicine Acupuncture Educator, Author, Practitioner, Renowned Instructor with Over 33 years of Experience.
I am not retiring, just changing job descriptions. I am whole-heartedly happy to say that the SMAC program will continue with two expertly qualified and experienced instructors, who are both master practitioners and gifted educators of Sports Medicine Acupuncture. The 2026-2027 SMAC Program live, in-person assessment and treatment courses will be taught by Ian Armstrong L.Ac, C.SMA on the west coast and Brian Lau AP, C.SMA on the east coast. And, as always, AcuSport Education will continue to provide the highest level of training in our field.
