SMAC Program Direction
The current 2019-2020 Sports Medicine Acupuncture Certification (SMAC) Program was paused halfway through the program in March 2020, due to COVID-19. Since then, we began to offer SMAC classes in several ways—as online webinars (partial program), online webinar recordings, as well as continuing to offer the complete SMAC program as in-person events. All different formats count during earning your SMA certification. The only classes that must be taken in person are the Huatuojiaji (HTJJ) class in Module I and the Assessment and Treatment of Injuries (ATI) classes in Modules II-IV.
